Peek Behind the Scenes of being a jBloom Designer (and lots of other fun roles too!)
Want a sneak peek of how I do it all? Let’s take a look at how i’m able to balance my daily life! Truth is- I’m not always successful at that and it is a work in progress- but I sure do try!
Welcome to a glimpse into my world, where creativity meets compassion, and where every day is a canvas for designing not just jewelry but also moments of connection and empowerment. I am a JBloom designer, pharmacist by profession, and a proud mom, wife and newly promoted Gigi. Join me as I take you through a typical day in my life, where I blend my roles, pursuing my passion while making meaningful connections, all while balancing the demands of a full-time career and the joys of family life.
My day usually begins with the gentle chime of my alarm, (I love the bird chirping alarm on my phone- very soothing way to kick off the day!) signaling the start of a new day filled with possibilities. It’s usually still dark when I get up. I’m an early riser because that’s when I have quiet time to myself- well sort of! First of all, it’s coffee! Then I feed my yorkipoo and then I sit down for some quiet time with my Bible. Any Bible Recap (with Tara Leigh!) fans out there? Before heading to the pharmacy, I take a moment to check my JBloom business dashboard, responding to messages from customers and connecting with fellow designers and potential clients. Engaging with this vibrant community fills me with energy and excitement, setting a positive tone for the day.
As I transition into my role as a pharmacist, I step into a world where attention to detail and empathy are paramount. Throughout the day, I dispense medications, counsel patients, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Despite the demands of my profession, I find moments to infuse creativity into my day, whether it’s suggesting personalized wellness solutions or simply sharing a smile with someone who needs it. My work as a pharmacist is not just a job; it’s a calling—a chance to make a difference in people’s lives, one prescription at a time.
During my breaks and after work, I seize the opportunity to expand my network and forge new friendships. Whether it’s attending networking events, joining online communities, or striking up conversations with colleagues, I cherish the chance to connect with like-minded individuals who share my passion for creativity and personal growth. These interactions not only enrich my life but also inspire me to continually strive for excellence in everything I do.
As the evening approaches, I eagerly dive into my role as a JBloom designer, where I unleash my creativity and passion for fashion. Whether I’m helping a client design a custom piece for a special occasion or curating a collection that reflects the latest trends, each design tells a unique story—a testament to the individuality and style of the wearer. I find immense joy in bringing my clients’ visions to life, transforming their ideas into tangible expressions of beauty and self-expression. It is so fun to help someone else Wear Their Story!
Amidst the hustle and bustle of my busy schedule, I always make time for what matters most—family. As a proud Gigi (grandmother), nothing brings me greater joy than spending quality time with my granddaughter, watching her grow and thrive. My jBloom Business has afforded me the opportunity to cut back a day a week to spend time with her. It is such a blessing to have that scheduled day every week!
In a world where time is a precious commodity, I consider myself truly fortunate to pursue my passion for jewelry design, make a meaningful impact as a pharmacist, and experience the boundless joy of family life. Each day presents new opportunities for growth, connection, and creativity, and I embrace them wholeheartedly. As I reflect on a day in my life as a JBloom designer, I am reminded that with passion, purpose, and a sprinkle of sparkle, anything is possible.
Seriously, everyone has a busy life. It’s what we have all become accustomed to. But I find that the busy-ness can be a blessing, as long as you stop and take time to enjoy every special moment along the way!
If you’d like to know more about my life as a jBloom Designer and what it actually means to do that job, I’d love to share more with you. And when you love what you do, it never really feels like a job. If I can do this, anyone can do it!
